Q: Is going to an escape room safe during COVID-19 & our increased safety policy.
At Escape60 our guests safety is the main priority. We have included the mandatory use of PPE equipment safety kits in all escape rooms & experiences - there is a Covid-19 safety surcharge of $1.50 per guest (for providing gloves, masks, hand sanitizer and additional cleaning staff) we have assigned cleaning protocols to all high traffic surfaces, locks, door handles that are subject to sanitization before & after game play. as always all our escape room are private meaning your group only, all bookings are staggered to minimize lounge crowding. for our menu and waivers (ipad tablets) we have replaced these with QR codes on our tables. Lastly, we have add a Covid-19 response video for pregame instruction.
Q: What is an escape room?
An escape room is a physical adventure game in which players solve a series of puzzles using clues, hints and strategy to complete the objectives at hand. Players are given a set time limit (60 minutes) to unveil the secret plot which is hidden within the rooms.
Q: How long do I have to escape?
All rooms are 60 minutes to escape! 75 minutes for the hunt for the dark lord.
Q: Do I need a reservation? How do I book?
Yes a reservation is required, book online through our booking system ahead of time as we can not guarantee a room will be available. That being said, we accept same day online bookings (2 hours before game time). At the top right of this website you will find 'BOOK'. Click there and follow the instructions.
Q: Can we pay cash when we get there?
Yes. However a credit card is needed to reserve a spot before hand.
Q: How much does it cost? What is the difference between standard rooms, premium rooms, & table tops
$32.5/Person - Standard Rooms - Escape room, locked based, cost effective.
$32.5/Person - Table Tops - Competition based room. This is not an escape room. It is a puzzle room.
$35/Person - Premium Rooms - Escape room, advanced technology, higher build quality.
Q: If I only have 2 or 3 people in my group, will we be placed with strangers to fill the booking?
No. All bookings are private for your group only.
Q: Are we really locked in a room?
It depends on your mission. Some rooms are all about solving the mystery, while others involve solving the mystery and unlocking the door. But don't worry… each game is monitored closely and we will let you out anytime you ask.
Q. Will I feel claustrophobic inside the room?
Probably not. The rooms are quite large. If you have an issue please notify us before you begin your game and we will be on standby.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel as long as it is 72 hours or more prior to the start of your scheduled booking. A booking can be cancelled but the deposit is non refundable, the deposit will be placed on file and can be used at a later date.
Q: What time should I arrive?
We strongly recommend you arrive 20 minutes before the start of the game.
Q: What about parking?
There is plenty of FREE parking in our plaza! Also, there is 2 hour street parking FREE.
Q: Are you accessible via public transportation?
Yes we are located next to the Sunalta CTrain Station.
Q: Are locations handicapped accessible?
Yes our location is handicap accessible. 'The Most Dangerous Game' room is wheelchair accessible.
Q: Can I bring my cell phone in the room?
No we do not permit the use of cell phones in any of the rooms. All cell phones and picture taking device will be locked safely in lockers before the start of the game.
Q: Is there an age limit? Can I bring children?
There is no age limit but the games are designed for adults. Ages 9 - 13 must have one participating paying adult per 4 children.
Q: Can I buy a gift card? CAN I BUY A GIFT CARD?
Gift cards are available! They can be purchased at our store front location: 1638 10th Ave SW or online.
Q: If I'm locked in, what happens if I have to go to the washroom?
Our facility has washrooms but not in the rooms. For safety reasons, the door you entered the room in, remains unlocked or we will accommodate and let you out of the room immediately.
